The NNUHFT Radiology Department undertakes more than 400,000 examinations per year. With over 300 staff working in Radiology (Radiologists, Radiographers, Assistants, Nurses and Administration staff), the Department is a very busy one. The Imaging Department at Cromer District Hospital provides plain film X-ray, MRI, Ultrasound, Breast Screening and Bone Densitometry (DXA) services.
The Radiology Department has been ISAS accredited. The Interventional Radiology Unit was recently recognised as a BSIRQI (British Society of Interventional Radiology Quality Initiative) Exemplar site, which evidences that the Department provides a high quality service in areas such as scope of services, good quality care, patient focus and service improvement.
